So your looking for a pool table?
I have some information that might be of help for you below.
Only two basic styles no mater the company or cost (el-cheapo or the best). External pocket (you see the leather pocket on the outside, part of the look with narrow rails, curved lines) or internal pocket type tables (newer style look wider rails, straighter lines).
Cost range of tables. If you have the wallet they can go 10 to $25K (happy to sell you one of those), but around here most of my customers spend 2 to 4 thousand for the better quality. Beyond that, you get even nicer and fancier woodworking. You can spend less for lower quality (other brands) but the mechanical structure can sag over several months having rail and other issues. So that range listed above is a good place to be, from any dealer.
Style of furniture. What do you want to look at for the next 20 years (or whatever) in your room. Your going to put a large hunk of something in there. It will probably outlast your TV. So make a good choice.....
High quality 21oz cloth or the expensive but highest quality anywhere, Brunswick's 25oz (water repellant) fast woven cloth.
Color of that cloth your interested in.
Optional items such as cues, balls, racks, covers, scuffers, etc. and the quality of these items. Don't settle for the cheapest quality balls (not very round or diameter consistency between balls) and four broomsticks (not deserved to called a cue, that will cause problems in your play). Your brain will need a very consistant reference to play and gauge from, if your going to learn anything. You will figure that out at the dealer if you compare. Here at Pletcher's, I will explain and help you with that (quality & proper shape angle of tip and wood shaft & finish etc.).
How much time will the installers be given at your location to do better finessing of the adjustments?
Remember: The better quality details of the Brunswick pool table, cloth, balls, cues, and the warm bodies that will be assembling your table.

Hours.....Weekend and evening friendly. Most weeknights I will be here. Most Saturdays 10 - 5 and possibly Sun. afternoon if you call. Our business is across from our residence, so it is convenient for us. Brandon (my son) is covering for me, weekdays and other times when I have to play dad or grandpa. Being a family business these times represent most of the time, and our best intentions. Note for E-mails and telephone calls. I will be happy to help you with room and table choices and design questions. Prices? Such as what most people are spending around here (table, lamps, fancy cue racks accessories. Also the range from low to high that most people are spending. The difference of construction between home, tournament, and coin tables. I am sorry, but Brunswick's' policy (5-2000 and now required by signature by all Brunswick dealers as of Jan 2002) does not allow any detailed street pricing of specific models over the telephone or internet by any authorized Brunswick dealer. We have been getting calls all over the USA asking for such. A dealer's shipping costs ( how far away from Brunswick), time spent at the customers install, and accessories can affect their costs significantly. If a dealer isn't reasonably close to you, he can't service you anyway. . Pool Tables are not small or light. So go in to your local Brunswick dealer for their pricing and local support and professional installation. That is, very important if you have ever witnessed an installation... Selling methods (or marketing hype) are definitely different between dealers, but speaking only for PLETCHER SALES, we do not sell the same model with different prices to different customers, unless there was an obvious reason (older or nicked showroom models, etc.).
My explanation
Brunswick has been striving to further increase its Brand, and dealer professionalism, thru required yearly business training programs for all Brunswick dealers. At the time of this writing, its time for me to go again. Also optional installer training schools have been offered for several years now (both of my sons have gone). It would be unreasonable to claim that all Brunswick dealer installers are performing on the precision quality level of the next Brunswick dealer. But I would hope that most Brunswick dealers would be performing at a higher level then some of the other Brand dealers out there.
As far as the manufacturing quality, of Brunswick's pool table products, I can personally say that overall, it is the highest level now, that I have ever seen. It has not always been that way, looking back now over the many years. But I can say that, because I have been a constant, and exclusive, 100% Brunswick dealer, for over 25 years now. Beyond that time, I handled several other brands.
